My Weekend!

I had a great weekend. First of all, Harris Teeter was having triple coupons ,and ususally that is makes for the best possible weekend. That was not exactually the case this time though. I got a few things very cheap or FREE, but Harris Teeter is just so high any more that it makes it hard to find a really good deal.

After shopping til I dropped on Friday I headed to Spruce Pine, NC where my husband has been working for a mini-Vacation. Spruce Pine is a cute little town up in the mtns. They had the cutest little stores with so many hand made crafts. We drove to Grandfather Mtn. Where my husband made me cross the Mile High Swinging Bridge (talk about scary). The next day we went to the Mineral Museum, and to an apple orchard called Alltapass Orchard. They had so many apple trees covering the Mountains it was just beautiful. The Orchard had all sorts of home cooked items and live music. It was really nice. Then we went to Mystery Hill which was really cool. My son really liked it.

I drove home on Monday morning because I had to get home in time to go to the Maroon 5 and Counting Crows concert with my brother. It was alot of fun even though we got there late and Maroon 5 was a little boring but good.

Overall, It was a great weekend. I will try to post some pics later!!

My Favorite Pic of the Week!

This is my favorite picture that I took today. This picture was taken at my house the Ferrari is a friends. My 2 year old thought it was the Ferrari from the movie Cars. It was so cute. I just had to share.

Triple Coupons!!

Yeah lets all take a moment to do the TRIPLE Coupon Booty Dance!! It is reported that Harris Teeter will be having Triple coupons July 24-26. Harris Teeter is one of my most unfavorite stores to shop at during Triple coupons, but I promise I will be there. Let me know about your really good deals!

I'm Back!

After a wonderful holiday filled couple of weeks, I'm back. It has been a much needed break for me and my family(especially me LOL). For our family adventure we got up 1 morning and decided to go to Atlanta for the weekend and visit the aquarium. Which was absolutely gorgeous. Well worth going.

Then, we had some extra time and visited The World of Coca Cola! Which was really cool for the whole family. My husband is a huge history buff and he loved looking at all the old bottles and old letters. My sons favorite part was getting to taste all 64 flavors coke makes across the world. Some of which were quite disgusting.

Last but not least, I got to go on a Girls night Out at a Spa. It was something I had always talked about doing, but never really seriously considered it. My girlfriend and I got to the hotel around 3pm on Sat. and stayed til lunchtime the next day. We had facials the first evening we were there and dinner in a 4 star resturant. It was alot of fun. I am looking forward to doing it again.

Well, that pretty much sums up my last couple of weeks. Hope everyone else is having a wonderful summer so far.
