Sharpie Madness!!

I had a wonderful day of shopping today. among other deals I got the best by far has got to be the Sharpie sale at Office Max. With this coupon, you can get a 12-pk of retractible Sharpies for $2 at Office Max. They retailed for $22.99! With this coupon you can get 2 sets. My total before the coupon was $49.00 and after was only $4.27. Woo Hoo!! I was so happy that I had to go back and use another coupon and get 2 more. The coupon is good til Saturday. To Potty Train or Not to Potty Train?

Today I went out and bought my 22 month old son a potty. Is 22 months to young? I personally under normal circumstances believe that 22 months is to young, but my son for months now has been coming to me telling me every time when he is stinky. Not so much when he is wet, but every stinky he comes right to me. Sometimes I have even noticed that he will come tell me and he will be clean and then 5 minutes later he comes and he's stinky. He says he wants to potty. He likes to sit on the tub and talk to you while you are in the bathroom, so I thought why not have him sit on his own potty instead of the tub while he is in there. Maybe get him used to at least sitting on it. I have seen some very small children potty trained and I would love to get mine trained now, but do you think it is to early?

Today was a good shopping day. I went to Target where they have their Glade Wisp candles on sale this week for $5.99 which are regularly $9.49. I had coupons I had printed online from Glade $5/1 coupons here which ended up making them $.99 each. What a great value. I was doing a happy dance in Target. They also had there Johnson and Johnson's baby vapor was on sale for $1.94 and with the $1.00 coupons floating around I only paid $.94 for a big bottle. This vapor bath works great. When me or my husband are real stuffy we will even take a bath with this wash and it really does open your head well.

I have Ebay fever! I have been selling on Ebay for almost a year and I love it. It has been a great way to bring in a little extra cash. I paid for my childrens Christmas this year with Ebay money. All I did was just went through the house and found what I had been "pack ratting" forever and got rid of it. What is it they say "Another Man's Junk is Another Man's Treasure". There are no truer words, if you look at it just because you do not like it and you think it is old doesn't mean that someone else would not love to have it. I am very big on if I am not going to use it give it away. I do not just hold on to much anymore. If I have not wore it in a couple months give it away, if I think we are not going to eat it or use it before it expires give it to someone that might. I highly recommend anyone looking into Ebay. Yes, there are fees that can get high, but if you throw it away what are you going to make on it in the trash?!

I'm Back!!

After a long break from adding free samples to my blog. I have decided that I am going to change the type of blog that I had in the past. My new blog will still include free sample listings, but will also include me sharing some of the great deals that I find from day to day.

Every since I was a child I can remember cutting coupons and cutting corners to try and save money. I never figured that when I was old enough to be taking care of my own family that I would be doing the same things that my Mom did. The same things that I used to hate to do as a kid (mainly cutting and using coupons) are the things I love to do today!
